Steve Guzslovan Obituary

On September 18, 2021, Steve Robert Guzslovan Jr, loving husband and father, passed away at Moog & Friends Hospice House, Penticton, BC, at the age of 58. His loving wife, Barbara, was by his side.

Steve was born on September 15, 1963, in Sudbury, Ontario, to Steve and Eva Guzslovan (Macsay). He worked as a concrete pump operator in Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia. On September 15, 2021, Steve married the love of his life, Barbara, in a small ceremony at Moog & Friends Hospice House, Penticton, BC.

Steve loved to camp with his wife, Barbara, he loved golfing with his brother, John. He enjoyed quiet nights with a few friends, having drinks, talking and having laughs. He had a heart of gold and he made a big impact on people in his work life. He enjoyed music and going to concerts. He had an infectious smile, and a kind and compassionate spirit. He would often say that he was not afraid to pass away, but was afraid to not live. He truly loved his family and friends.

Steve is predeased in death by his father, Steve, and his mother, Eva. He is survived by his wife, Barbara, his 2 children from a previous relationship, Brad (Courtney), and Brittany (Scott), his brother Zoltan, his brother John (Allyson), and his sister Eva. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, his nieces and nephews, his great nieces and great nephews, and many cousins and friends.
